At Children’s Dental Specialty Group we feel it is important for you to accompany your child to their appointments, especially their first visit. There are times, however, when the doctor and staff may ask that only one parent be present during your child’s appointment. This is to ensure that your child is treated in the safest and most efficient manner possible. We have also found that as children grow and become more independent they may ask to attend their appointments without a parent, while this is always your decision as a parent, we know that with time you will gain the trust of our doctors and staff to allow your child to do so.
Your scheduled appointment has been reserved specifically for your child, as such we ask that you make every effort to be early for your child’s appointment. Arriving 15 minutes prior to your child’s appointment will allow adequate time for the completion of online forms and insurance verification.
If you will be late for your child’s appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals as long as it will not cause a delay in another patient’s appointment. Arriving late for your appointment may result in only partial treatment or the rescheduling of your appointment. If you are more that 15 minutes late without notifying our office it will be considered a missed appointment and fees will be assessed accordingly.
If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason please call our office no later than 48 hours prior to your child’s scheduled appointment. There will be a $25 fee assessed for appointments that are not rescheduled 48 hours prior to your child’s appointment. There will be a $50 fee assessed for appointments that are missed without notice. Some missed appointments will be assessed a higher fee depending on the type of appointment that was scheduled.
Payment in full is expected at the time services are provided. If you are unable to pay in full, financial arrangements must be made prior to your child’s appointment. Any account balances must be paid prior to scheduling any future appointments. The adult who brings your child to their scheduled appointment is expected to pay for the services provided during that appointment.
